Effective planning, organization, perseverance and dedication has been the ultimate key to success in producing and executing my first range. Over the course of the semester I have had a number of unexpected hurdles, which has caused stress but ultimately caused me to grow as a designer both mentally and physically.
I have pushed the boundaries of creative techniques in the form of spray painting, knitting and alternative fabrics that involved a high degree of thought to ensure a professional standard.
My strengths of time management and desire to succeed has counteracted my naturally tendencies to stress and dwell on uncontrollable moments.
The key learnings for the semester have involved taking one day at a time, networking with suppliers and constantly evaluating progress to ensure everything would be completed on time. In a project so large, set backs are unavoidable; however using these as opportunities for future development has instilled me with the confidence should I undertake another range.

Looking back, I would have liked to dedicate more time on finishing to align with the standard of work I had previously produced. Even so, this has shown me a commercial side of fashion, which dominates the current fashion industry. Even so, my core interest in high end ready to wear design remains my passion, with acute attention to detail being what I hope to continue focusing on in the future .

Support of teachers, family and friends has also been fundamental in creating the range. At times of giving up and what seems like a loss for direction, words of wisdom have ultimately ensured me to keep striving for my best.
Overall, I am happy with the standard of work I have produced over the course of the year. As a designer I have seen improved skills and an increased workmanship that I can only keep striving for in the future.
